Obedience
What kind of obedience we show daily? Do we obey our parents? Closed ones? Relatives? Friends? And most importantly – do we obey God and His commandments?
Why do we need to obey? What do we get out of it? Obedience is the best way to please someone. Are we pleasing God or people? Obedience makes life smoother. It calms the situations. It allows respecting each other.
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
When we obey our parents, they feel not only happy but blessed when they see you. They allow you to take decisions but when they tell you something out of there experience which is hurting to you, you need to obey them. If it is against God’s will for you, don’t disrespect or disobey, instead take it to the lord in prayer.
I was going through few verses in bible from Deuteronomy chapter 28. I was surprised to see the blessings for obeying in the first few verses from 1-15. They were just amazing. To keep it simple – You lack nothing and you will have all you need in this world. I felt blessed and honored to read them.
At the end of verse 15, there was a clause BUT. When I continued reading it, it said Curses for disobedience. Yes, and this didn’t stop in just 15 verses but continued from 15 to 68. To keep it simple – *curses ruin your life and so is the disobedience.
Yes, blessings are better than curses and so is the obedience better than disobedience. Obey God and His commandments to make your life better and smoother. *It’s not a choice but it’s a must do thing to be blessed.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—“so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” Ephesians 6:1-3
Be an obedience practitioner and win souls for God! Stay Blessed!
